Indiana is home to 18 Certified Technology Parks.
The average employee wage of companies located in an Indiana certified technology park ranges from $40,000 to $50,000.* This is higher than the $35,000 average wage of an employee working at an Indiana company.
The number of high technology companies located at each of the state’s 18 certified technology parks ranges from 30% to 90%.*
Mentoring and coaching executive services are provided at the parks.*
Successful parks have an active management team. Legally, the community and the economic development individuals are responsible for the oversight and management of the park; however, normally one stakeholder comes to the table to lead and supervise.*
*Results reported from six of the 18 Indiana certified technology parks completing a 2006 survey from Indiana Economic Development Corporation
