A well-known television and radio broadcast journalist, Barbara Lewis partnered with Gerry Dick in 2000 to launch The Business of Health, a weekly feature on "Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick" television.
Every week, Barbara examines the health news impacting Indiana businesses and their workers. She provides statewide perspective on national headlines and news from innovative healthcare companies. Since joining "Inside INdiana Business," she has tackled a variety of business-related healthcare topics, ranging from life science economic development opportunities to the rising costs of healthcare benefits.
Barbara also hosts a weekly public radio program, "Sound Medicine," for WFYI Public Radio/Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis, which airs on 13 Indiana radio stations.
She is a former anchor/reporter for WRTV-6, an Indianapolis ABC affiliate. Before coming to Indiana, she worked in TV and radio in Sacramento, San Luis Obispo and San Diego, California. She has a BA in Journalism from Oregon State University.
