Gerry Dick

The host and creator of Inside INdiana Business television, Gerry Dick also serves as president and managing editor of Grow INdiana Media Ventures, LLC, a diverse media company focused on producing and distributing Indiana business news and information through multiple media channels. Gerry and technology entrepreneur Scott Jones are owners of the company.

Grow Indiana properties include Inside INdiana Business with Gerry Dick, which can be seen on 13 Indiana network affiliated and public broadcasting stations, InsideIndianaBusiness.com, Inside INdiana Business Radio, The INside Edge and INside Edge Morning Briefing daily e-newsletters, and several interactive, information on-demand products. The company also is parent to Inside Arizona Business, a Tucson-based business news and information organization.

Recognized across the state as an Indiana business leader, Gerry is a frequent keynote speaker and moderator on issues related to Indiana business and the state's economy. He also appears on WISH-TV 8 (CBS, Indianapolis) and WIBC 1070 AM as a business analyst.

Previously, Gerry was senior vice president of the Indianapolis Economic Development Corporation and also spent 14 years as a principal reporter and field anchor at WRTV (ABC) in Indianapolis. He has also held reporter and anchor positions at television stations in Fort Wayne and Terre Haute.

Gerry has been recognized with Ernst and Young's prestigious Entrepreneur of the Year award and honored by the Small Business Administration as its Journalist of the Year. His business television show has been nominated for three Emmy awards and, in 2004, Gerry was bestowed the honor of Sagamore of the Wabash by then-Governor Joe Kernan.

Gerry is a native Hoosier, born and raised in the Vermillion County community of Clinton, and is a graduate of Indiana State University. He is member of the board of directors of the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement of Central Indiana, the Better Business Bureau of Central Indiana, and Boy Scouts Crossroads of America Council.  He also serves on the following advisory boards: Indiana University Cancer Center, Indianapolis Convention and Visitors Association, IUPUI, DePauw University Pulliam Center for Contemporary Media, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (Indianapolis Board), the National Federation of State High School Association's Foundation and the Indiana Council for Economic Education. Gerry was also a founding member of the Dean's Advisory Council of the Indiana University School of Informatics.

Gerry and his wife Roz have three children and are residents of Lawrence Township in Indianapolis.
